9no. Encuentro Anual de la Alianza Quechua – Estados Unidos

Since 2015, The Quechua Alliance’s Annual Meeting has been a vibrant and multigenerational space for the exchange of ideas between Quechua speakers, community leaders, college students, and educators who share an interest and passion for Quechua language and Andean culture. One of the main goals is to strengthen the vibrant Quechua enthusiast community in the United States and the diaspora. The event is open to the public. No previous knowledge of Quechua is required to participate. The 2025 edition is organized in conjunction with the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) and the Global Indigenous Studies Network (GISN) within the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies (HLS) at Indiana University-Bloomington.

Desde el año 2015 el encuentro anual Quechua Alliance es un espacio vibrante para el intercambio de ideas entre hablantes de quechua, líderes comunitarios, estudiantes universitarios y educadores que comparten el interés y la pasión por el idioma quechua y la cultura andina en Estados Unidos y la diáspora. Una de las metas del encuentro es continuar fortaleciendo la vibrante comunidad andina. No es requisito hablar Quechua para participar. La edición de 2025 está organizada en conjunto con el Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos y Caribeños (CLACS) y la Red Global de Estudios Indígenas (GISN) dentro de la Escuela de Estudios Globales e Internacionales (HLS) Hamilton Lugar de la Universidad de Indiana-Bloomington.

Since 2015, The Quechua Alliance’s Annual Meeting has been a vibrant and multigenerational space for the exchange of ideas between Quechua speakers, community leaders, college students and educators who share an interest and passion for Quechua language and Andean culture. This will be our first in-person event since 2019. One of the main goals is the strengthening the vibrant Quechua enthusiast community in the United States and the diaspora. The event is open to the public. No previous knowledge of Quechua is required to participate. We are happy to bring this in-person gathering back after these years! Regular registration was open until March 12th. If you didn’t register, you are still welcome to come, but we won’t be able to provide you lunch or event materials.

El encuentro anual Quechua Alliance es un espacio vibrante para el intercambio de ideas entre hablantes de quechua, líderes comunitarios, estudiantes universitarios y profesores que comparten el interés y la pasión por el idioma quechua y la cultura andina en Estados Unidos y la diáspora. Una de las metas del encuentro es continuar fortaleciendo la vibrante comunidad andina. No es requisito hablar Quechua para participar. Evento abierto al público. ¡Nos alegra retomar este encuentro en persona el 2023 luego de varios años!
Las inscripciones regulares estuvieron abiertas hasta el 12 de marzo, pero si usted no se registró, es también bienvenido a venir, solamente que ya no podremos ofrecer almuerzo y materiales del evento.
